It’s always preferable to do work on your pipeline without needing to shut down production. When you work with less experienced companies, they normally want to turn everything off so they can work, costing you valuable time and money along with it. We do things different by utilizing a live main tapping method.
Sometimes referred to as “hot tapping” this method involves cutting a hole in an existing pressurized piping system to make a new connection. And, as we said, it can be done without any interruption of service. This service can be completed on a variety of piping types including cast iron, ductile iron and PVC mains. We can perform this on pipes ranging from ¾” up to 24” inch, with larger jobs available upon request.
